Radiology

I had the opportunity to participate in the Institute for Health Technology Transformation (iHT2) conference on mHealth in Seattle yesterday. The core theme for this iHT2 conference was all about use of mobile solutions on smart phones, tablets, and other devices in the health care world.

I have chosen the title for my blog entries, "The Quandary". A quandary is defined as a state of uncertainty or indecision as to what to do in a difficult situation. I believe this is a great description of where radiology and radiologists find ourselves in these changing times as we try to determine the right path individually and professionally. Hopefully what we discuss here will help us move from a quandary to answers we can put into action. And so without further delay, the inaugural blog.

vRad has partnered with the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) to provide RBMA members additional educational opportunities within the field of radiology. Through the partnership, vRad will provide six $1,500 scholarships to RBMA members who have not attended an RBMA conference. The scholarships will cover registration fees and other costs qualified applicants incur for attending the meeting. The first scholarships will be awarded for attendance at the 2011 Fall Educational Conference.
