On September 28, 2016 vRad announced that it implemented its first breast imaging Live Video Diagnostics solution site at the Center for Women’s Imaging at Medical Center Hospital (MCH) using Cisco® technology.

vRad Upgrades Radiology Patient Care Indices with Expanded Data and Artificial Intelligence

We have updated our RPC (Radiology Patient Care) Indices to now include five years of data, from 2011-2015.  In addition, we have enhanced the precision of RPC findings definitions using natural language processing (NLP) to differentiate between positive, critical, incidental, negative and/or normal findings.

vRad Adds More Than 120 Physicians in 2016 and Plans to Add 80 Additional Physicians by Year End

vRad announced it has added more than 120 board-certified radiologists since January 2016 in response to a surge in year-over-year imaging volume through June 2016. The company is on track to interpret nearly 6.5 million patient studies for the year and plans to add 80 additional physicians  by year end.

vRad to Be an Integral Partner in the IBM Watson Global Health Imaging Collaborative

On June 22, 2016 IBM announced it has formed a Watson Health medical imaging collaborative, a global initiative comprised of more than fifteen leading health systems, academic medical centers, ambulatory radiology providers and imaging technology companies. vRad is pleased to be an integral member of this elite consortium of healthcare and telemedicine thought leaders.
