When I was practicing at my community hospital, I was burned out. Toward the end of my time there I dreaded going to work. Even when I wasn’t working, I was thinking about working. I was never able to enjoy my time off or be truly present with my family – they never got the best of me. Today, that’s no longer the case.
I sat down recently to share my story of how the difficult decision of quitting private practice changed my life, in hopes that I might be able to cut through the myths and misperceptions about teleradiology. I think there are so many radiologists out there, maybe like you, who would benefit from considering vRad. I now find daily fulfillment in my work and truly enjoy life again.
Hear a clip from my interview below where I talk specifically about how wonderful it is to actually enjoy time off again, without dreading going back to work – and how vRad makes that possible. Then, stay tuned for more from my interview and other vRad radiologists.
As you’re evaluating your next radiology career move, I hope you consider vRad. Practicing radiology from home can be very rewarding for radiologists of all backgrounds. If you’d like to speak to me directly, please request to be contacted here and mention my name. I’d be happy to share my experience and answer your questions.
